The founder of Astro Arya, Sumit Kumar was born on 12th January, 1984 in Uttar Pradesh. Beginning from his maternal grand-father to both his parents, Sumit Ji has been breathing yoga as a way of life since his birth. All his childhood, yoga camps and Haridwar visits with the family were the most favorite holiday destination for him.
The founding principle and the force behind Astro Arya is Sumit Kumar’s firm belief in a holistic approach to deal with health and life problems. He promotes this approach to treat various symptoms and chronic disease as well as to address a range of life problems including financial, family feuds, vastu, and psychological challenges. Unlike the commonly used one or two astrological techniques, Sumit Kumar combines the principles of Vedic & Mundane astrology, Vastu, Feng Shui, Muharata, Numerology, and even Palmistry to arrive at a solution. The right combination of these principles enables him to make highly accurate and relevant predictions-acknowledged by hundreds of his clients. For health problems, his solutions are natural and based on the astrological principles.
Sumit Kumar brings along strong academics in the fields of astrology and yoga backed with a rich experience of over a decade. In his career spanning over 16 years, Sumit Kumar has successfully treated his clients with Psychological counseling, Philosophy, Nature cure, Acupressure, Reiki (Pranic healing), Lama-Fera, Yagyopathy (Advanced Aroma therapy), Sound healing, Mantra healing, and Colour therapy.
Dr. Sumit Kumar has worked with the High Commission of India in Dhaka, Bangladesh, High Commission of India in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania and Embassy of India in Manila, Philippines for three years, where was instrumental in setting up numerous Yoga Camps and emphasizing Yoga for a healthier way of living. He has represented India as a Yoga expert at International Day of Yoga in Dhaka, Bangladesh for 2017, in the Philippines for the year 2018 and 2019 and in Tanzania for the year 2022 and 2023. He has completed Ph.D. on Yoga Psychology from Panjab University, Chandigarh. Before which he had done M.Sc. Applied Yoga & Holistic health from DSVV, Haridwar, PGD Psychology & M.A. Philosophy from Panjab University, Chandigarh and Advanced Study in Astrology, Vastu & Allied Sciences from ICAS, Chandigarh Chapter.
